The Community Land Trust Brussels (CLTB) considers urban land as a common good, which must be preserved (notably from speculation) for the well-being of the whole community. CLTB works for a city where the constitutional right to housing is guaranteed for all. Convinced that good housing is essential for well-being, health and development opportunities, CLTB aims to offer all households - and especially those in the lowest socio-economic situation - the possibility of living in good quality, sustainable and affordable housing. By doing this, CLTB is contributing to the construction of an alternative housing policy based on the commons.
